1st Time Baking

Here is Therese and her first attempt (with some help from her Mom) at making banana bread. It smelled and tasted great. Compare what Therese looks like now with the photo on the website from when we began traveling. Amazing how much she has changed.

We are in Arizona right now and next week we head toward Oklahoma to present a mission in Lawton.

We look forward to slowing down.

God willing, after Lawton we will park for a couple of weeks in Edmond. After two and a half years full-time on the road we will be 'at home' - at least in the driveway. Since our house still has no furniture, we will be staying in the RV while getting things in order.

The boys try to describe our back yard to Therese who really has no memory of our house. We still feel very much drawn to travel and in order to do so are beginning to consider one or two times a year to stop and regroup.

We are thinking of hosting a family retreat in Oklahoma around the end of June or early July. This is just the beginning stages so stay tuned for info as it comes together. If God wants it; it'll happen.

We feel a lot of hope as we continue praying to know God's will for our family and this Apostolate. Thank you for your part in this effort; the prayers, the encouragement, the support... it all helps so much.

Snow, Waterfalls, Tsunami Hazards, etc

No block association here! An artist who loves to decorate his yard in Centralia, Washington

The children loved seeing waterfalls along the highway.

Woke up to SNOW in Portland! My big concern was making over any mountain grades to get back south. Thank God we had no problems with weather!

Had Joseph lean outside to get this picture. After three tries, it worked! Strange how we never see these signs in Long Beach or San Diego.... hmmmmm.

How could we pass up a chance to see a volcano - it was still impressive - even though it WAS covered in snow.

Along the Oregon Coast.

Some trees were so close to the road, they had part of the trunks carved out for cars... SMALL cars! So we in the RV had to swerve a bit but made it okay - Thanks be to God!

Highway 101 in Northern California - these images bring back memories of when I used to live here. Yes, even fog can be beautiful.

And now we are stopped here across the street from Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Downey, (southern) California.

Tomorrow night is the last night of the Parish Mission/Retreat we've been presenting here. Many prayerful people gathered tonight, thank you God.
Here is a shot looking at our RV across the street from the Church - 'camping' in their overflow parking lot. (Stick with me, Mary, I'll show you the world!"

We look forward to spending a few weeks in Oklahoma - first time in two and one half years. Amazing. Mary tells me, "Don't look down." and she's right. This will not be stopping for me as I will fly out or drive out those few weeks. We'll be camped in our driveway since there is absolutely NOTHING in the house aside from some work being done to make it more homey.

Onward and upward and don't look down. Be sure and join us during this season of Lent. Just visit the home page to find the link. It is late so I'm turning in. God bless you who pray for us - we are very grateful for that support.
